Evan O'Connell starts in the second-row for Munster in Friday's pre-season game with Johann van Graan's Bath
A 38-MAN Munster Rugby squad has been named for Friday’s pre-season clash against Premiership champions Bath at Virgin Media Park in Cork, 7pm.
Ireland internationals Tom Ahern, Craig Casey, Gavin Coombes, Alex Kendellen and Michael Milne will make their first appearances of the campaign for Munster against the Johann van Graan-coached visitors. Ahern, Kendellen and Milne all made their Ireland debuts in the summer.
It will be an extended fixture with 90 minutes of game-time. Instead of a half-time break, there will be a 10-minute break after 30 minutes and a 10-minute break after 60 minutes.

Two Munster teams have been named for the clash with game time to be split evenly. A further eight players will feature as replacements.
New signings JJ Hanrahan, Dan Kelly and Conor Ryan will play their first home games since joining in the summer.
Conor Bartley and Academy flanker Michael Foy are set for their first senior Munster appearances with Ben O’Connor, Fionn Gibbons, Gordon Wood and Ronan Foxe making their first appearances of the campaign.
Six members of the Munster Rugby Academy are named in the squad: Foy, O’Connor, Wood, Foxe, Max Clein and Seán Edogbo.
Niall Scannell will continue as Munster captain having led the team for the first half in Gloucester with Casey, who captained Ireland on the summer tour, to lead Munster for the first time when he takes to the field.

The Munster squad will be wearing the new adidas home jersey in Friday night's game.
