ONE person was taken to University Hospital Limerick following a multiple-vehicle collision in Limerick.
Gardai, Limerick Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics from the National Ambulance Service all attended the scene of the incident on the N20 main Limerick to Cork road last night.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí attended the scene following a report of a three-vehicle road traffic collision involving cars, that occurred at Garranroe, Croom, County Limerick, yesterday, Tuesday, February 25 at approximately 8.30pm.”

One person was taken to University Hospital Limerick by ambulance but their injuries are understood not to be serious. A number of other occupants in the cars were assessed at the scene.
There were long traffic delays while the scene was being cleared.
“Enquiries are ongoing,” said a garda spokesperson.
