Crouch, touch, pause and engage first gear!
BRUFF'S senior women's rugby team had already steamrolled over Midleton 43 - 5 when they had to put their shoulders to the wheel again.
Their bus broke down in a service station in Fermoy on their way back to Dave Clarke's bar in Bruff to replenish lost fluids. As the bus was blocking other vehicles, the Bruff ladies rolled up their sleeves and scrummed down again that day.
After shouting crouch, touch, pause and the driver engaging first gear, the bus took off at speed. The video has gone viral on Tik Tok with thousands of likes. One person to comment said "girl power!".

Bruff senior women's rugby team is going from strength to strength and this will be one night on their journey to the top tier that will be remembered fondly.
Unfortunately, "try" as the driver might, the bus wouldn't get going and not even the rugby players could push it all the way home.
However, a replacement vehicle came along a short time later and they made their way home to Bruff. Let's hope the wheels don't come off their promotion push!
