LIMERICK'S round four Allianz Hurling League clash with Kilkenny today has been called off this afternoon due to the adverse weather conditions.
After a pitch inspection in UPMC Nowlan Park this morning, the match was called off due to an unplayable pitch.
John Kiely's side will be in action on Sunday March 2 at 3:45pm in the TUS Gaelic Grounds against Clare. The Banner county face Wexford today in round four of the Allianz Hurling League.
Six days later, on March 8 Limerick host Galway in the TUS Gaelic Grounds at 7:30pm. The Shannonsiders face Wexford in their final game of the Allianz Hurling League on March 22 at 7:30pm in the Ennis road venue.
The round four clash between Limerick and Kilkenny could be refixed for St Patrick's weekend as it is only free weekend where there is a break during the Allianz Hurling League.
Kiely's charges have four home Allianz Hurling League games at home this year. Limerick had no home fixtures last year due to the redevelopment of the playing surface at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
