MOTORISTS should be aware of delays on the outskirts of Limerick city due to necessary works.
Planned enhancements are being made to the railway crossing in the Patrickswell area and delays are expected to take place this Monday and Tuesday.
In paticular, it is said that the areas of Ashford Road, Rootiagh and Barnakyle Road, Patrickswell will be affected.
Limerick City and County Council have advised motorists that traffic management operations are in place for the duration of the works to ensure safety.
Road users in these areas are being advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
