EMERGENCY services attended to scene of two separate road collisions in Limerick this Friday morning.

The first incident - a single vehicle collision - happened on the R522 near Dromcollogher shortly after 6am while the second happened on the southbound carriageway of the M20 - between junction 2 (Dooradoyle) and junction 3 (Raheen) shortly after 7.30am.

It's understood that was also a single vehicle collision.

Gardai, paramedics and personnel from Limerick Fire and Rescue attended both incidents and both roads have since fully re-opened.

There are no reports of any serious injuries arising from either collision.

Separately, motorists travelling on the main Limerick to Shannon road are being advised of a collision close to the junction of the N18/N19.

That incident happened at around 8.45am and the scene is currently being cleared.
