THE STORE in Limerick where a massive €11 million winning lottery ticket was sold has been revealed.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning ticket for Wednesday’s (January 4) €11,106,438 Lotto jackpot was sold at Kelly’s Costcutter store, in Foynes, in County Limerick.
The National Lottery has also confirmed it is still waiting to hear from the winning ticket holder who has officially become the first National Lottery millionaire of 2023 and the 19th millionaire in the Lotto game, in the last 12 months.
Kelly’s Costcutter is operated by brother and sister duo, Eoin and Trisha who took over the business from their parents, Vincent and Breda in 2018.
This is the second big National Lottery win that the store has enjoyed since it was established in 1980. In November 2006, Kelly’s Costcutters sold a winning EuroMillions ticket worth over €9.6 million to one of their customers.
