Dermot Kennedy is coming to Limerick next summer
IRISH superstar Dermot Kennedy is taking his latest tour to a Limerick stadium next summer.
The Dublin singer, who shot to international stardom in 2019 for his single Outnumbered has announced that he will be playing in Thomond Park Limerick on July 7. He headlined Electric Picnic to over 70,000 people in September.
"The stuff of dreams. Playing Limerick's Thomond Park next summer!! The Sonder Tour is coming home!! This is going to be so so incredibly special," he wrote on Twitter, announcing the visit to followers.
Dermot's Treaty City visit marks the beginning of his new Sonder Tour, named after his newly released album featuring top-rated hits such as Something to Someone, Kiss Me, Dreamer and Innocence and Sadness.
This week, he surprised Dublin Christmas shoppers on Grafton Street with an impromptu street concert from the balcony of the historic Bewley's building, where he sang some of his newest releases.
Special guests for his Limerick visit to the home of Munster Rugby are yet to be announced.
Tickets from €53.65 including booking fee go on sale this Friday December 2, at 9am.
