Cllr Eddie Ryan with Sarah McCutcheon, executive archaeologist with Limerick City and County Council
PHASE two of restoration works at Galbally graveyard have been given the green light.
Works on the site of the ruins of the old church were awarded funding of €100,000, under the community monuments grant.
This is the second financial injection of the same amount at the Galbally historic site and the project is now two thirds of the way funded.
The construction contract was awarded to Costello Masonry Construction Ltd, who are based in Kilmallock.
