Limerick Fire and Rescue Service were at the scene of the blaze in minutes
A CAR burst into flames in mysterious circumstances in Limerick city centre on Monday evening.
It occurred around 6pm at the entrance to a parking area adjacent to Colbert Station.

The ferocity of the blaze, which resulted in large plumes of smoke that could be seen for miles around, led some to think it was the result of an arson attack.
However, gardai say there were no reports of any criminal damage by fire incidents.
Limerick Fire and Rescue Service were on the scene within a matter minutes due to its proximity to their base in Mulgrave Street, and had extinguished it in seconds.
No injuries have been reported.
