Rethink Ireland’s €7.8m investment in Limerick

RETHINK Ireland marked a €7.8m investment in social innovation projects in Limerick at its annual board gathering, hosted in the county.

Through a unique venture philanthropy model, Rethink Ireland backs social innovations that are thinking differently to meet the urgent needs of people in communities across Ireland, partnering with businesses, individuals, families and Government.

As part of the annual gathering, Rethink Ireland visited non-profits in Limerick who have been awarded funding - Narrative4, Corpus Christi Family Centre, Moyross, and Bedford Row Family Centre. Rethink Ireland also highlights 150 awards of funding to organisations in Munster since 2016, with 65 in Limerick.

John Fitzgerald, board director, Rethink Ireland, who is pictured with Deirdre Mortell, CEO and founder of Rethink Ireland and James Lawlor, director, Narrative 4, said: “Our remit is to accelerate positive social change by backing social innovation.
