Santa Claus is coming to town - on December 16 to be exact!
THE MILK Market is set to transform into a seasonal wonderland this December in Limerick.
Every Friday to Sunday throughout the month, the market will be adorned with the sights, sounds, and smells of Christmas.
From foods to unique gifts, the market will offer an array of winter delights to kick off the holiday season.
The festivities began on November 26, with the Santa Paws Christmas Craft Fair. This event, featured over 20 craft stalls, 5 café/food shops, and 5 vintage, antique, and craft shops, is all in aid of Deel Animal Rescue.
December 8 will see a Christmas Transition Year Enterprise Market, where up to fifty local secondary schools will showcase their latest innovation projects, accompanied by festive vendors.
In addition to the traditional markets, December 3 will see the market host its largest Art Fair of the year, The Christmas Art Fair, and the Christmas Vinyl Record & CD Fair on December 10.
Santa will even make a special appearance on December 16, inviting families to capture the magic with a photo. Donations will support Limerick Suicide Watch.
The Christmas Antique, Vintage and Craft Fair will wrap up the events on December 18.
The Christmas events are sponsored by Limerick City & County Council, Lyons of Limerick Ford, and Mast.ie.
