'Step one complete': Munster player gets married to long-term partner

The couple tied the knot on Tuesday surrounded by a few close friends

MUNSTER Rugby and Ireland player Joey Carbery announced ‘step one’ was ‘complete’ as he married his long-term partner Robyn Flanagan.

The fly-half, who was born in New Zealand, shared a picture on Instagram of himself and his new bride sharing a kiss on the steps of City Hall in Dublin on their “dream day,”.

The couple tied the knot on Tuesday surrounded by a few close friends. An array of familiar faces congratulated the couple on their announcement, with Aoife McNamara writing: “Congratulations!!!”

Sharing a few snaps on social media, his wife, Robyn Flanagan, commented: “A dream day. Special and intimate. So looking forward to celebrating with our friends and family soon.”

Back in November 2021, Joey popped the question during a visit to Central Park in New York.

The couple had been dating for over six years, and got engaged after moving in together.
