LIDL Ireland opened a new store in Limerick city this morning, on the Dock Road.
The eagerly anticipated store features high ceilings and wide aisles, with increased natural light for customers and staff alike with glass fronted glazing, LED lighting, roof mounted solar panels and an energy efficient system provided by 100% green energy.
The store, which took almost 12 months to construct, provides ample customer car parking with EV charger points.
As part of the opening, Lidl provided a number of complimentary vouchers to the first customers through the door on the morning alongside offering huge savings on middle aisle favourites including a 50’ 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, espresso machines, stand mixers, food processers and much, much more.
The retailer now now has five stores in Limerick city and one in Newcastle West.
Lidl’s new store at Dock Road will open from 8am to 10pm, Monday to Saturday and from 9am to 9pm on Sundays.
