THE Limerick Person of the Year for 2022 was named at a gala lunch at the Clayton Hotel in Limerick this Thursday afternoon.
The winner was the organising committee behind the JP McManus Pro-Am which took place at Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort last July.
The trophy was accepted by JP McManus on behalf of the committee.
Separately, poet and musician Tom McNamara became the latest inductee to the Hall of Fame during the ceremony.
The Limerick Person of the Year Awards are sponsored by The Limerick Leader, Southern Marketing Design & Media and the Clayton Hotel, and supported by Limerick City and County Council.
