Treaty Utd confirm the appointment of the club's new Senior Women’s Manager

New Treaty United Senior Women’s Manager, Alban Hysa

TREATY United have announced the appointment of Alban Hysa as Treaty United Senior Women’s Manager.

Alban joins Treaty United off the back of a successful spell with Peamount United’s U19 Women’s side, winning the U19 Cup and reaching the league semi-final last season along with finishing second in the 2021 league. Alban has also worked for several years on the FAI Emerging Talent Programme as a coach.

Prior to his coaching career he plied his trade in the League of Ireland with both Monaghan United and Dublin City amongst others

A UEFA A Licence candidate for 2023, Alban will now begin the process of building his backroom team and squad for the forthcoming SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division season.

Following his appointment, Alban spoke of his excitement for the season ahead.

"I am delighted to embark on a new journey with Treaty United’s Senior Team in the Women’s Premier Division. I am looking forward to building up from last season and to be working with an amazing group of players. I am experienced in developing players having just won the WU19 Cup; something that will stand to me in my new position," said Hysa.

Last month Don O’Riordan had advised the club of his departure from the role of Treaty United Senior Women’s Manager "due to time commitments."

Treaty Utd's youthful squad had a difficult 2022 season in the Women's National League finishing bottom of the table.
