THE LIMERICK COUNTY board have confirmed the addition of two new members to John Kiely's Limerick senior hurling management team for the 2024 season.

Kiely has added some high-profile additions to his background team ahead of their attempt to claim five All-Ireland titles in a row.

John Flavin comes into the management set up as a coach and he will be joined by Joe O'Connor who will return to the management team as High Performance Manager.

John Flavin is a new addition as coach, but the Monagea clubman will be no stranger to many of the Limerick squad, having also worked under Kiely when they landed All-Ireland U-21 honors in 2015.

O'Connor, who also helped Clare to All-Ireland SHC glory in 2013, was the strength and conditioning coach when the Treaty ended a 45-year famine in 2018 before stepping aside at the end of the 2019 season.

With renowned sports psychologist Caroline Currid stepping away from the team after this year's All-Ireland final, after playing her part in their five All-Ireland title successes in the five seasons she was involved.

They will join John Kiely, Paul Kinnerk, Donal O'Grady, Aonghus O'Brien and Alan Cunningham to complete the management team for 2024.
