One change for Limerick minor hurlers to play Galway

THE Limerick minor hurling management have made one change to their team for Sunday’s All Ireland minor hurling championship semi-final against Galway.

THE Limerick minor hurling management have made one change to their team for Sunday’s All Ireland minor hurling championship semi-final against Galway.

The game has a 1.30 start in Croke Park and will be televised live on TG4.

Twelve months ago the sides also met at this stage of the championship with Mattie Murphy’s Galway winning after extra-time in a semi-final that will always be remembered for the point that Limerick were denied by a Hawk-Eye malfunction.

Manager Brian Ryan brings Conor Fitzgerald back into the team at corner forward. He missed the Munster final replay win over Waterford through injury.

His return sees Colin Ryan move from corner forward to wing back, with Lorcan Lyons missing out.

In a positional switch Ronan Lynch is named in midfield with Cian Lynch at wing forward,

Seven of the Limerick team started against Galway twelve months ago, Another two were introduced during that deeat to the Tribesmen.
