Unchanged Limerick team for U-21 final against Wexford

LIMERICK have named an unchanged team for Saturday’s All Ireland U-21 hurling final against Wexford.

Limerick’s fifth ever All Ireland U-21 final takes place in Thurles against Wexford.

The game has a 7.00 start and will be televised live on TG4.

This Wednesday morning Limerick manager John Kiely confirmed his team will be the same as the line-up that overcame Galway in the semi final.

The team will be captained from wing back by Diarmaid Byrnes. He is just one of four players that will be overage next season.

The youthful side is backboned by the Munster minor winning sides of 2013 and 2014.

There are changes to the subs with three current minors; Eoghan McNamara, Seamus Flanagan and Peter Casey, now among the reserves.

The panel includes four sets of brothers with Michael and Peter Casey and Sean and Seamus Flanagan all named on the match day panel.

Sean Finn and Tom Morrissey are in the starting team with their brothers Brian Finn and Paddy Morrissey part of the extended panel.
