PREMIER side Corbally United needed extra time to see off a dogged challenge from Division 2A leaders Hyde Rangers in Athlunkard.
The visitors took the lead through Scott Quaide after five minutes but on the half hour mark Robert Clancy restored parity.
Neither side could find a breakthrough in normal time so extra time followed where the Premier side tacked on two goals through Sean Kiely and Eoghan O'Connell to progress to round three.
