AFTER the last couple of weeks where focus has been on Munster and representative action, this weekend sees a return to mostly League action in the Limerick District League with a couple of youth sides looking to progress in the FAI Youth Cup.
Teams must progress in the Munster Youth tournament before qualifying to play in the FAI Youth Cup so Fairview Rgs and Murroe have qualifying rounds this weekend.
Following their exciting 3-2 win over Pike Rvs in the previous round, Fairview travel to take on Newmarket Celtic on Saturday afternoon.
A day later Murroe host Co Limerick side Feenagh.

In the Premier League leaders will be looking to maintain their four-point lead when they host Mungret Regional on Saturday evening.
The Blues are in fine form and despite a surprise upset against Aisling in the Munster Junior Cup look like they are destined to retain their title.
That said they will have to earn that right and opponents on Saturday, Mungret Regional will do their all to halt the Champions.
Second placed Ballynanty Rvs face a tricky assignment away to Aisling. The Annacotty have been inconsistent this season but have shown on their day they can beat anyone.
Inconsistency is not something that Ballynanty Rovers can be accused of this season. They have been superb from day one when they beat Sunday’s opponents Aisling 4-0.
The Blues cannot really afford to drop any further behind the leaders while Aisling need to get back into a winning habit so we could be in for a cracking tie.
After escaping the drop zone with a 3-0 win over Corbally last weekend, Nenagh will be hoping to take something from their trip to Regional Utd.
The Tipperary side have some exciting young talent coming through but they will get nothing easy against a Regional side with some exciting young players of their own.
Janesboro and Geraldines are too close to the danger zone for either of their liking. With current holders of the dreaded position, Corbally United, not in action this weekend it gives both sides a chance to put clear daylight between them so there is plenty to play for when they meet in Pearse Stadium.
In the Premier A league, any of seven teams could be top of the table depending on the outcome of the weekend’s action.
Moyross recorded a great win at Newport last weekend but must keep up that fight when they are in less high-profile games. They will be favoured to take the spoils at Summerville Rvs A but must earn the points.
Joint leaders Star Rovers face a tough game at home to a Caherdavin Celtic still in the hunt for honours.
Kilmallock Utd A suffered a disappointing result at Regional last weekend but will be expected to get back to winning ways at home to a struggling Southend XI.
Regional Utd B are on a good run that sees them just two points behind the leaders. They host Aisling Annacotty B on Sunday while the remaining game in the division sees Prospect Priory A at home to a Newport side eager to get back to winning ways.
We have two thrilling games on offer in Division 1A. Leaders Shelbourne face a real toughie when they visit an in-form Granville Rgs side.
Waiting for the leaders to slip are Murroe A and Herbertstown A as they cross swords in Murroe.
Depending on results in these games may give a much clearer picture of how this promotion race is heading.
Division 2A leaders Hyde Rgs welcome Abbey Rvs while the chasing two, Herbertstown B and Brazuca play Moyross Utd B and Newtown Rovers respectively
Top game in Division 2B is the clash of Summerville Rvs B and Fairview Rangers B.
