THIS Saturday the Limerick District League junior soccer side begin their inter-league campaign with a trip to Ennis to meet the Clare League.
The Limerick District League squad is a good mix of youth and experience, and hopes are high of a prolonged run in the tournament.
The line-up will be chosen from the following squad; Conor Coughlan Aisling Annacotty, Leon Kirrane, Shane Walsh, Vinny Ryan Ballynanty Rovers, Blake Curran, Danny O'Neill, Darragh Rainsford, Jake Dillon, Jason Cross, Josh McCarthy, Oleg Vysochan Fairview Rgs, Aaron O'Sullivan, Kai Joyce, Shane O'Brien Janesboro, Adam Lipper, Dylan Murphy, Kyle Duhig, Leon Daly, Steven McGann Pike Rovers, Kieran O'Connell, Tom Frawley Regional Utd.

Elsewhere in the LDL this weekend, there is one game scheduled in the Munster Junior Shield when the LDL’s remaining hopefuls, Nenagh B make the trip to De La Salle FC in Waterford hoping to join Granville, Shelbourne, Ballynanty Rvs B, Aisling D and Murroe in the last 16.
In the Premier League, focus is on the bottom of the table.
With Hyde Rgs already gone the battle is on to avoid the second relegation spot.
Nenagh are current occupants, but they are just a point behind Corbally and the two sides meet on Sunday in Athlunkard.
Athlunkard Villa welcome high flying Geraldines A in the other top- flight game.
In the Premier A League, leaders Kilmallock visit Regional Utd B on Saturday while a day later the clash of Newport Town A and Moyross Utd A is the pick of the bunch.
In Division 1A leaders Shelbourne will be expected to win at home to Caherconlish while Murroe A can keep their promotion push on course if they can beat Pallas Utd.
Othe league games of note see Ballynanty Rvs B host Newport Town B in Division 1B. In the same race, Glenview Rvs host Pike Rvs B.
In Division 2A, leaders Hyde Rgs are not in action which allows Lough Derg and Brazuca the chance to close the gap when they play Abbey Rvs and Castle Rvs respectively.
Title hopefuls Fairview Rangers B and Mungret Regional C cross swords in Division 2B.
