LIMERICK DISTRICT LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION:

Aisling Annacotty 2 Pike Rovers 3

PIKE Rvs recorded a superb 3-2 win at Aisling Annacotty in the Premier League in Annacotty on Thursday evening.

The home side had a dream start when Adam Foley struck after three minutes to open the scoring.

The lead only lasted five minutes as Dylan Murphy levelled the tie.

Donnacha O'Leary restored Aisling’s lead but Murphy struck again to level the tie on 38 minutes.

Former Aisling winger Leon Daly made it 3-2 before the break with what proved the decider.

Both sides had chances in the second half, but the Hoops held onto their 100% record.

Fairview Rgs maintain their three-point lead at the top of the table following an ominous 6-0 win over Regional United.

A brace from Adam Dore and one from Oleg Vysochan had the champions well in control by the break.

Further second half scores by Jake Dillon, Vysochan and Cian McNamara completed the winner’s tally.

Ballynanty Rovers 4 Nenagh AFC 2

Ballynanty Rvs took the points in a hard-earned win over Nenagh at Ballynanty Park.

Balla had to bounce back, after going behind twice, before outgunning the Tipperary side.

Adam Ryan put Nenagh in front before Vinny Ryan equalised on the half hour mark.

Nenagh regained the lead before the break when Bryan McGee headed in from close range.

Kane Connolly equalise following a fine run to finish Leon Kirrane’s through ball and Balla took the lead for the first time on 65 minutes when Conor Keane cleverly finished in the box.

Nenagh’s hopes of salvaging something from the tie were put to bed ten minutes from time. A superb ball by Calum Kiely was chested on by Shane Walsh and Vinny put the finishing touch to a fine goal.

Geraldines 1 Corbally Utd 1

Geraldines snatched a last gasp equaliser to deny Corbally their first win in Garryowen.

Eoghan O'Connell gave Corbally the lead on the stroke of half time and they weathered some serious second half pressure before conceding seven minutes into injury time.

The equaliser was a wonder goal worthy of saving a point for the home side as Ousman Darboe struck from all of 35 yards with a ferocious shot that stuck in the back of the net.

Janesboro 3 Athlunkard Villa 5

Following their disappointment when losing to Fairview on Sunday, Athlunkard Villa bounced back in style to take the points on their trip to Janesboro.

Famara Kassama gave Villa the lead on the half hour mark but two goals in a three minutes space before the break by Adam Finn and Dylan Moriarty had Boro in charge at the break.

When Kai Joyce made it 3-1 on the hour mark it looked like game over.

However, a superb closing ten minutes saw the visitors run in four goals to record their first Premier League success. Sean Markham, Peter Kirwisa, Famara Kassama and Danny Taylor were the winning marksmen.

Mungret picked up another three points with a 4-0 win over a gallant Hyde Rgs XI.

Hamza Selman Celik and Kieran Long had the home side two up at the break and in-form striker Cian McNicholas tacked on another brace after the restart.

ROUND-UP:

Newport moved to the top of the Premier A league by virtue of a hard-earned win over Star Rvs, Conor Brett netted the only goal of the game.

Regional posted a 1-0 also, at Caherdavin Celtic when Jack Flanagan was the goal scorer.

Jorge Gustavo and Cian Power scored two goals apiece as Charleville and Moyross played out a 2-2 draw.

Prospect Priory hit Southend for five through Jai McNamara, Keelan Corbett, Trevor Hogan, Adrian Healy and Shane Byrne.

Trevor Daly bagged a brace for Summerville Rvs but they fell 5-2 to Carew Park whose scores came from Pat Whelan 2, Craig Dawson, Zak Sheehan and Kieran Grimes.

In Division 1A Shelbourne made it four from four with a 6-0 win over Corbally Utd B. Colm Cassidy claimed a hat trick with Ger Johnson, Conor McGuane and J Doherty also netting.

Cameron Walsh scored both for Granville Rgs in a 2-1 win over Aisling Annacotty D. Tom Canty replied while Parkville beat Ballylanders 2-0 courtesy of Eoin O'Shea and Finn Looney.

Herbertstown and Holycross played out a 2-2 draw. Scorers were Kevin Meade and Tyrique Leamy for the ‘Town and Niall O'Riordan and Alex Burchill for the ‘Cross

David Curtin and David Ryan netted for Pallas in a 2-0 win at Caherconlish while John O'Brien scored for Cappamore but they fell 7-1 to Murroe. Jamie Long, Liam Quinn and Cillian O'Shea scored two apiece with D Bourke completing the scoring

The top game in Division 1B saw Mungret Reg and Ballynanty Rvs B play out a 1-1 draw. Adam O'Neill scored for the home side, Darragh Queally replied for Balla.

Cian Shinnors, James Martin, Martin O'Reilly and Mike Cummins were on the mark for Croom Utd in a 4-3 win over Newport B for whom Dave Kirk, Colin Coleman and Cillian O'Sullivan netted.

Mike O'Keeffe scored twice for Kilfrush but goals from Jordan Clancy 2, Chris Jasterebski, Robert O'Mara and Luke O'Connell gave Lisnagry a 5-2 win.

Pike Rvs B beat Patrickswell 3-2. Logan O'Byrne scored all three for the Hoops. John Kirby hit a double for the ‘Well.

In Division 2A, Aisling Annacotty C beat Coonagh Utd B by the odd goal in seven. Kyle O'Donovan 2, Gift Amadsun and David Fitzgerald scored for the winners; Cian Moloney, Ger Hodkinson and Mark Moylan replied for Coonagh.

Christian Da Silva Lopes, Wesley Gabriel and Matheus Jacome scored for Brazuca United in a 3-2 win over Moyross B for whom Tyrone Fitzgerald and John Mitchell replied.

Herbertstown B edged out Abbey Rvs on a 5-3 scoreline. Nick Hayes netted a hat trick and John Culhane was also on the mark for the winners. Cian O'Connell and Paul Campbell were on the mark for Abbey.

Goals from Matthew Ryan, Charlie Grace, Sean Fahy, Cian McAuley, Cian O'Donoghue, Tom O'Connor and Jack Grace saw Lough Derg ease past Cappamore B while Hyde had a similar east path at Meanus.

Evan Shine, Jamie McNamara, Eoin Quigley, Andrew Brosnahan and Scott Quaide shared the goals.

In Division 2B, goals from Robert Brock 2 and Edwin Saju saw Caherdavin Celtic B beat Mungret Reg C 3-0.

Dromore Celtic went one better at home to Athlunkard Villa B, R Harty, Merisese Tulloch, Aaron Vaughan and Jay Quirke were the marksmen.

Brinn Holmes 2, Pat Nolan and Ciaran Cregan scored for Prospect Priory B in a 4-1 win over Corbally Utd C for whom Iham Giacomelli replied.

In Youth Div One, Fairview Rgs beat Corbally Utd 4-0 courtesy of goals from Daniel Zweigela 2, Oscar O'Donoghue and Chad Molloy.

James McCarthy nabbed four goals while John Pratt also scored as Holycross beat Aisling Annacotty A 5-1. Cian Finucane replied.

Alex Woodland 2, Scott Nugent 2 and Cillian Healy netted for Murroe who beat Mungret Reg 5-1. Harry Beegan scored for the visitors.

Pike Rvs proved much too strong for Regional Utd as Oisin Healy, T Kelly, Jack Meaney, Liam Murphy, Cathal McNamara and Dylan Kett shared the goals.

Shelbourne edged out Geraldines by the odd goal in three. Cian Cronin and Jed Robinson scored for the winners; Eric O'Brien was on the mark for Dines.

In Youth Div Two, Pike Rvs B overran a young Regional Utd B side running in goals by Gustavo, Dos Santos, Connie Dawson, Dylan Brown, Ashley Nevis, Robbie Burke and Aaron McNamara

Charlie Harrison and Mohammad Ali Abdallah scored for Aisling Annacotty B but Pallas Utd prevailed with scores from D O’Connell 2 and Daire Long.

Goals from Barry Kiely, Alex Kennedy and Gabriel Sousa Araujo helped Charleville to a 3-0 win over Lisnagry while Herberstown went one better at Corbally Utd. Devon Leamy, Brian O'Callaghan, Christian Higgins and Reece Ranson were the winning scorers.

James Foley and Rudy Daw Benchelef obliged for Lough Derg in a 2-1 win over Caherconlish.

The Under 17 League kicked off on Tuesday evening when Aisling Annacotty A beat Pike Rvs 3-0 with scores from Jack Cregan, Riain Martin and Ngache Aguinagalde.

E Mullane and D Glynn scored Caherdavin’s goals in a 2-1 win over Shelbourne.

Goals from Ronan Conneely 3, Bryan Nagy and Ali Zaidi helped Holycross to a 5-2 win at Mungret Reg. Harry Beegan scored a double for the home side.

Harry Bowles was on the mark for Fairview at Murroe but the home side ran in scores from Matt Halvey 2, Kion Quigley and Liam O'Brien to take the spoils.

Aisling Annacotty B beat Regional Utd 4-0 with Dion Phayer 2, Mark O'Donnell and Kevin Reidy netting while Corbally Utd beat Lisnagry 5-1. Dylan Burton 3, Ruaidhri Mitchell and Dylan Burton obliged for the winners. Sam Hogan replied for Lisnagry.

Pike Rvs B edged out Charleville by the odd goal in five. C Nolan 2 and S Hartigan scored the winning goals. Bartosz Zuzga and T Lowe replied for Charleville.

Kilfrush beat Aisling Annacotty comfortably. Evan Lonergan 4, Charlie O'Connor 2, Shane Heffernan and John Hayes Hughes were all on the mark

Goals from Adam Piotrowski, Aaron O'Hagan, Dylan McMahon Kerley and Terry Fitzgerald helped Summerville to a 4-1 win at Murroe for whom Leon Coleman replied.

Caherconlish and Herbertstown ended 3-3. Mike Koyce 2 and Aaron O'Brien for the home side and Ciaran O'Connor, Nic Saveljev and Jack Roche for ‘Town were the scorers.
