LOCAL rivals, the Limerick District League and the Limerick Desmond League, faced off in a Youths Inter-League Munster quarter-final derby clash at Jackman Park.
After an entertaining contest, it was the Limerick District League who emerged victorious against their local rivals on a 5-2 scoreline.
The District League side will now be away to the Cork Youth League in the semi-finals of the competition in early January.
