UNIVERSITY OF LIMERICK and Mary Immaculate College play home Fitzgibbon Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday. Earlier, this week it was confirmed that the Sigerson and Fitzgibbon Cup finals will take place in Croke Park.
The Sigerson Cup final will take place on Wednesday February 11 at 7:35pm, while the Fitzgibbon Cup final takes place on Friday February 13 at 7:35pm. Both finals will broadcast live on TG4.
Mary Immaculate host UCD on Wednesday afternoon (January 28) at 2pm, while UL take on UCC in Maguires Field at 6.30pm on Wednesday evening.
Mary Immaculate College produced a dramatic second-half turnaround to edge past ATU Galway by 1-24 to 5-9 in round three of the Fitzgibbon Cup on Wednesday evening last.

Limerick senior hurling star Shane O'Brien was in outstanding scoring form finishing up with an impressive 1-15, while Jimmy Quilty and Oisin O'Farrell produced solid displays.
UL had too much for DCU winning out 4-24 to 1-20 in Dublin in their final group fixture last week. Limerick hurler Adam English was in impressive form, finishing with a tally of 2-1, while Aidan O’Connor contributed 0-6 for Brian Ryan's UL side.
Despite playing out a battling draw, 2-15 to 0-21, against a fancied University of Galway outfit, TÚS Midwest bowed out of the Fitzgibbon Cup on home soil on Wednesday evening last. On Tuesday evening, TUS Midwest secured their Fitzgibbon status for 2027 with an 0-18 to 2-8 victory over ATU Galway in the Fitzgibbon Cup relegation semi-final.
Meanwhile, University of Limerick face Maynooth University on Wednesday evening (January 28) at 8pm in Maguires Field in the Sigerson Cup quarter final.
