Donnacha Ó Dálaigh lines out at corner forward for Limerick in Saturday's Munster Hurling League opening round group game against Clare in Tulla
THE Limerick senior hurling team to face Clare in their opening Co-Op Superstores Munster Hurling League group fixture of 2026 this Saturday has been named.
John Kiely has named a line-up that includes a mixture of experienced and youthful players for the meeting with the Banner.
The Group B fixture between the Munster rivals is sold-out as capacity for both the Co-Op Superstores Munster Hurling League games on Saturday between Clare and Limerick in Tulla, 2pm, and the Clonmel Sportsfield meeting of All-Ireland champions Tipperary and Waterford respectively was limited to a maximum of 2,000 supporters.
Munster GAA confirmed on New Year's Eve that all tickets for the meeting of Clare and Limerick had been snapped up by hurling fans.

Admission to Saturday's clash in Tulla will be by ticket only, including Under 16s. Hurling fans have been advised not travel to the game without a ticket in order to avoid disappointment.

Meanwhile, Limerick senior footballers open their McGrath Cup campaign with a home game against Tipperary at Mick Neville Park in Rathkeale this Friday, January 2 at 7pm.
Munster GAA have indicated that tickets for Friday’s McGrath Cup game in Rathkeale will be available via the usual outlets and tap and go facilities will be available for the game.
