Limerick's Mary Immaculate College target Division One Hurling League success

MARY IMMACULATE COLLEGE face University College Cork in the Division One Hurling League final this evening at 7:30pm in the Mardyke, County Cork. 

There are eight Limerick players on the Mary I Fitzgibbon Cup squad which includes Limerick senior hurling star Shane O'Brien (Kilmallock), William Dore (Dromin-Athlacca), Patrick Finn (Bruff), Sean Whelan (Cappamore), Mikey Gavin (Ballybrown), Jack Daly (Croom), Jimmy Quilty (Blackrock) and Wayne Kearns (Na Piarsaigh).

Meanwhile, Fionn O'Brien (Bruree) and Dan Scully (Dromin-Athlacca) are both part of the UCC side. The Cork college defeated UL in the league semi-final, while Jamie Wall's outfit got the better of the University of Galway in the other league semi-final. 

Mary I will meet SETU Waterford and ATU Galway in Galway in Group D of the Fitzgibbon Cup. The South Circular road college get their Fitzgibbon Cup campaign underway at home to SETU Waterford on January 7/8 and Wall's side face ATU Galway in Galway on January 21/22. 

The Division One Hurling League final will be streamed on the Higher Education GAA YouTube channel.
