Venues confirmed for round two of Dr Harty Cup

THERE is an all Limerick clash this Wednesday in round two of the Dr Harty Cup. John The Baptist Community School, Hospital meet Scoil Na Tríonóide Naofa, Doon on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30pm in Kilmallock GAA Grounds. 

Both sides will look to get their Harty Cup campaigns back on track after opening round defeats. Thurles CBS defeated John The Baptist Community School 0-24 to 0-15, while Blackwater Community School had too much for Doon winning out 3-17 to 1-14. Both teams met in the same stage of the competition last year and it ended in a 0-17 to 1-14 draw.

Ardscoil Rís will look to go one step further in qualifying for the knockout stages when the city school take on Nenagh CBS in Newport GAA Grounds on Wedensday at 1:30pm. 

Niall Crowe's side had an impressive 2-23 to 2-15 victory over Cashel Community School in round one. St Flannan's College, Ennis face Cashel Communtiy School in the other game in group one in Meelick GAA Grounds on Wednesday afternoon.
