THREE Limerick senior hurling stars will take part in this year's Hurling for Cancer Research charity match.

Brothers Tom and Dan Morrissey will represent 'Jim Bolger's All Stars' team alongside Doon hurler Darragh O'Donovan.
Not only will Limerick be represented on the field but Limerick senior hurling manager John Kiely will be in the dugout giving former Wexford hurling manager Liam Griffin a helping hand.
The Limerick men and 'Jim Bolger's All Stars' will be facing off against 'Davy Russell's Best', a team managed by the legendary Brian Cody and current Tipperary manager Liam Cahill.
The match will take place in Netwatch Cullen Park in Carlow this Monday August 18 with a 7:30pm throw-in.
An array of stars from the world of racing, GAA and top sports personalities will lace-up their boots for the annual hurling extravaganza between the two teams.
Among the all-star list of those stepping up to act as selectors, commentators, side-line officials, umpires and maor uisce are Paudie Clifford, Rachael Blackmore, Marty Morrissey, Anthony Daly, Willie Mullins, Bernard Dunne, Paul Townend, Ursula Jacob, David Gough, Niall Quinn, Barry Geraghty, Danny Mullins, Michael Duignan, Paul Nolan, Willie McCreery, Jarlath Regan, Cyril Farrell, Jimmy Barry Murphy, Dickie Murphy, Colm O’Rourke, Kevin Manning and Colin Keane.
Hurling for Cancer Research will be broadcast free-to-air on TG4 to help boost donations to the Irish Cancer Society’s vital research projects. Their coverage starts at 7:15pm.
To date, Hurling for Cancer Research has raised an incredible €1.66m for cancer research.
