Mungret St Paul's and Newcastle West played out a draw in the Limerick SHC

SUPPORTERS cheered on Mungret St Paul's and Newcastle West in round one of the Whitebox Limerick senior hurling championship on last Friday evening in Mick Neville Park. 

Newcastle West and Mungret St Paul's played a 2-14 to 1-17 draw in the Limerick SHC. Despite trailing by ten points Newcastle West battled back to lead late on before Mungret St Paul's youngster Mark O’Brien tied the game up in stoppage time.

Mungret St Paul's are back in action against Adare on Wednesday evening in Clarina at 7pm, while Newcastle West take on Kildimo-Pallaskenry on Friday evening in Sean Finn Park, Rathkeale at 7pm.
