Gearoid Hegarty starts at wing forward on the Limerick senior hurling side to face Kilkenny on Saturday
THE Limerick senior hurling side to face Kilkenny in their rescheduled Allianz Hurling League Division 1A fixture at Nowlan Park, Kilkenny on Saturday, 3.30pm, has been named.
Limerick's starting line-up shows three changes from the side which started against Galway at the TÚS Gaelic Grounds on Saturday evening last.
The changes see David Reidy, Gearoid Hegarty and Seamus Flanagan come into the starting team in place of Kyle Hayes, Tom Morrissey and Aaron Gillane.
Limerick have named Na Piarsaigh's Will O'Donoghue at centre half-back for the visit to Kilkenny. Captain Cian Lynch has been selected at midfield with David Reidy starting at centre half-forward.
Cian Lynch will be partnered at midfield by Adam English.
John Kiely's Limerick side have two games remaining in the round robin phase of the league with Saturday's clash with 'the Cats' followed by a final round home meeting with Wexford a week later at the TÚS Gaelic Grounds.
Limerick sit in fourth place in Division 1A of the league, after two wins, a draw and a defeat from their opening four fixtures.
Saturday's game with Kilkenny will be shown live on TG4.
