LIMERICK'S round four Allianz Hurling League clash against Kilkenny will be shown on TG4. The action gets underway on Saturday afternoon at 3:30pm in UPMC Nowlan Park.
The round four Allianz Hurling League fixture was called off on February 23 due to the adverse weather conditions. After a pitch inspection in UPMC Nowlan ParK the match was called off due to an unplayable pitch. The match was then rescheduled for this weekend.
John Kiely's side are now back in contention for a place in this year's league final after a comprehensive victory over Galway last Saturday. Meanwhile, Kilkenny are to yet to win a game at home in the Allianz Hurling League.
The Shannonsiders know that two wins in their final two games against Kilkenny and Wexford will put them onto nine points. Cork meet Galway in their final game of the Allianz Hurling League and a win would move the Rebels on to nine points.
Scoring difference could then decide whether Cork or Limerick advance to the league final as the sides drew in round two of the league. After Cork's big victory over Clare yesterday, Pat Ryan's side have a scoring difference of +29 with Limerick on +13.
Limerick finish their Allianz League campaign against Wexford on March 22 at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
