Galway announce team to face Limerick in Allianz Hurling League

MICHEAL Donoghue has named his Galway senior hurling team to face in Limerick in the Allianz Hurling League. The Galway team sees three changes from the side that defeated Wexford last weekend. 

Shane Morgan, Kevin Cooney and Conor Cooney all come into the Tribesmen starting XV. Micheal Donoghue's charges are aiming to record their fourth win in-a-row after defeating Kilkenny, Clare and Wexford. 

Galway suffered a defeat in round one against Tipperary. Donoghue is back in charge of his native county for the second time. The Galway native has given 37 players gametime throughout the Allianz Hurling League. 

UL Fitzgibbon Cup goalkeeper Darach Fahy will come up against some of his college teammates. Galway defender Daithi Burke miss tonight's clash against Limerick with a hamstring injury. Meanwhile Cathal Mannion makes his return from injury. 

The action gets underway at 7:30pm in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
