Tipperary announce team for Allianz Hurling League clash with Limerick

TIPPERARY have announced their starting XV ahead of their clash with Limerick in round three of the Allianz Hurling League. The Division 1A clash gets underway at 3:45pm on Sunday afternoon in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Tipp come into this clash on the back of victories over Galway and Wexford. There are five changes from the Tipperary team that defeated Wexford in round two of the league.

Gearoid O'Connor, Bryan O'Mara, Barry Hogan, Darragh Stakelum and Sean Kenneally all come into the starting XV. Liam Cahill's  side are aiming to defeat Limerick for the first time since 2019 this weekend. 

Cahill has included ten of the Tipperary team that were defeated by Limerick in last year's Munster Senior Hurling Championship clash in his starting XV for this weekend. 

TIPPERARY: Barry Hogan; Robert Doyle, Eoghan Connolly, Michael Breen; Seamus Kennedy, Ronan Maher (Captain), Bryan O'Mara; Willie Connors, Craig Morgan; Gearoid O'Connor, Jake Morris, Alan Tynan; Darragh Stakelum, Sean Kenneally, Darragh McCarthy. 

SUBS: Rhys Shelly, Conor Bowe, Michael Corcoran, Jason Forde, Brian McGrath, John McGrath, Noel McGrath, Andrew Ormond, Oisin O'Donoghue, Gavin O'Halloran, Johnny Ryan.
