LIMERICK are aiming to register their first win in round three of Allianz Hurling League this weekend. The Shannonsiders face Tipperary this Sunday at 3:45pm in the TUS Gaelic Grounds. 

Limerick played out a draw against Cork in Division 1A last weekend after having a bye in the opening round of the Allianz Hurling League. Tipperary have recorded victories over Galway and Wexford.

TG4 will be broadcasting this Sunday's clash between Limerick and Tipperary. The coverage gets underway on TG4 at 3:35pm.

On Sunday evening, supporters can view highlights from the action in the TUS Gaelic Grounds on League Sunday on RTE2 at 9:30pm. 

The Limerick Leader Sports department will be bringing viewers all the action, insight, and analysis from the Ennis Road venue.

An Garda Síochána have said that there will be Road closures in place from approximately 2pm. There will be a full road closure on the Ennis Road from Union Cross to Ivan’s Cross.

Tipperary currently sit top of Division 1A on four points with Cork just behind them on three points, Kilkenny and Galway are level on level on two points and Limerick sit in fifth place on one point. Meanwhile, Clare and Wexford are yet to register a win.

This is Limerick's first game back at the TUS Gaelic Grounds since last May's Munster SHC clash against Waterford. The last time Tipperary defeated Limerick was in the 2019 Munster Senior Hurling Championship. Since the introduction of the Munster SHC round-robin series Limerick have recorded six victories over their Munster rivals. The sides played out an entertaining draw in 2023. 

John Kiely's charges mixed his starting XV with youth and experience last weekend. Aidan O'Connor, Patrick O'Donovan and Jason Gillane were some of the Limerick players to impress last weekend.
