Limerick will aim to win the Munster Senior Hurling Championship title for the seventh year in-a-row this year, PICTURE: Sportsfile
MUNSTER GAA have confirmed the dates, times and venues for the Munster Senior Hurling and Football Championship games beginning in April.
The Limerick senior hurlers begin their quest for an unprecedented seven Munster Senior Hurling titles in a row with a trip to FBD Semple Stadium Thurles to play Tipperary on Sunday April 20 at 4pm. Cork travel to Clare at 2pm in a repeat of the All-Ireland senior hurling final on the same day.
In round two of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship, Limerick have a bye.
John Kiely's travel to Waterford on Saturday May 3 in round three of the Munster SHC at 6pm in Walsh Park, Dungarvan. On May 18, the Shannonsiders host Cork in the TUS Gaelic Grounds at 4pm in round four.
Limerick finish their Munster round-robin series campaign against Clare at home on Sunday May 25 at 4pm. The Munster Senior Hurling Final will take place on Saturday June 7 with a 6pm throw-in time.
Meanwhile, the Limerick senior footballers begin their Munster Senior Football Championship campaign against Cork on April 5 at the TUS Gaelic Grounds at 6pm. The winners will advance to the Munster SFC semi-finals against Kerry on April 19.
The Munster Senior Football Final will take place on Sunday May 4th at 1:45pm.
