SUPPORTERS cheered on their Limerick senior hurling team against Waterford in a challenge game at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Sunday afternoon.
Limerick defeated Waterford 1-21 to 0-18. Seven points in-a-row midway through the second half proved to be th difference as Limerick hung on for a six-point victory over their Munster rival.
John Kiely's side will now switch their attention to the start of the Allianz National Hurling League against Cork on Saturday at 7:30pm in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
