THE Limerick senior hurlers will play a challenge match against Waterford today at 1:30pm in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
This will be the Shannonsiders last challenge match before their opening round Allianz Hurling League clash against Cork on Saturday in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh at 7:30.
Limerick GAA have opened up this clash between the counties to the general public. Tickets are priced at €10, while U16s go free.

The challenge match will not be streamed or televised. You can follow all the match updates on the @LimkLeaderSport X account. LimerickLeader.ie will have reaction from the game and a match report available after the challenge match on our website.
This Monday and Wednesday, the Limerick Leader sports department will have reaction from Limerick's challenge game against Waterford in the city and county editions.
John Kiely's side have played challenge matches against the UL Fitzgibbon Cup team, Antrim and Dublin in recent weeks.
Both counties have a bye this weekend in the Allianz Hurling League. Limerick will compete in Division 1A, while Waterford will take part in Division 1B. Former Kilmallock senior hurling manager Peter Queally is in charge of the Deise.
