LIMERICK will now play Cork in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale in the Co-op Superstores Munster Hurling League the provincial council have confirmed.
The re-fixture is due to take place on Wednesday, January 17 with tickets for the game set to go on sale on Monday morning. There is a limited capacity at the newly refurbished Rathkeale venue so tickets are likely to sell out in a timely fashion.
The initial fixture between Limerick and Cork was due to take place in Mallow on Sunday afternoon last but the game was postponed due to heavy fog.
John Kiely's men are due to play Clare in their opening Munster Hurling League fixture in Clarecastle tomorrow evening with the game at the venue starting at 7pm.
Limerick's hurlers get the defence of the Allianz Hurling League underway against Antrim on Sunday, February 4.
