THE GOAL Mile celebrated its 40th anniversary this year with four events taking place in Limerick on Christmas Day.
Hundreds of participants turned out across Limerick for the annual event to help raise funds for the poorest and and most vulnerable communities across the world.
Our gallery of photos features some of those who completed the GOAL Mile at Crecora GAA pitch at midday on Sunday afternoon.
Other GOAL Miles took place at UL Athletics Track, Fedamore GAA grounds and Ballybrown Community Resource Centre.
