Lucy Fitzgibbon announced the tragic news on an Instagram post
A POPULAR Limerick influencer has shared the pain of her pregnancy loss saying she will “never be the same again” after the passing of her unborn baby girl.
Lucy Fitzgibbon (22) shared the tragic news online, letting her followers know that her little unborn baby girl who she and her partner had fallen pregnant with in October, had become a star in the sky.
“I don’t think I’ve ever experienced pain like this, and I’ll never be the same again that’s for sure. A piece of me went with her,” the blogger and tattoo artist from Askeaton shared.
Last year, the leading Irish influencer and self-taught make-up artist revealed that she had moved to Barcelona with her partner Dylan Fitzharris.
Last month, the pair began to document their baby journey through a series of Instagram posts, detailing the highest of highs to the lowest of lows.
Their last update in October revealed that scans showed signs of a baby girl.
Taking to Instagram after the pregnancy loss on Tuesday, November 15, Dylan Fitzharris thanked the thousands of messages of support from Limerick and abroad that were flooding in for the couple.
Speaking from outside the hospital, Dylan said: “it wouldn’t be possible to put into words the effect that your support has had on us.”
He described racing through emotions such as confusion, anger, pain, and sadness, which were more heightened than he ever thought possible, following the tragic news.
Your messages, calls, and simple acknowledgement has really played its part, he said.
The pair announced that they will be taking time to grieve. “I can’t wait to have Luc home so we can begin to move past such a sorrowful time in our lives,” Dylan added.
