TODAY there will be a mix of bright or sunny spells and bands of showery rain. Some heavy downpours can be expected. Moderate west to southwest winds will strengthen later, with gales on coasts. Maximum temperatures 9 to 11 degrees.
Tonight the rain will clear eastwards to scattered showers and clear spells. Lows of 3 to 7 degrees, in fresh westerly winds, strong on coasts.
