GARDAI have arrested a man in his 20s who reportedly entered a Limerick city apartment and threatened the occupant while armed with a knife.
The aggravated burglary occurred before 4.30pm on Thursday, May 9 at an apartment on Parnell Place in Limerick city.
A spokesperson said that gardai from Roxboro Road received a report after “a man armed with a knife entered an apartment on Parnell Place and threatened the occupant. He then left the scene having taking the occupants mobile phone”.
“An investigation was carried out by detective gardai in Roxboro Road and a man in his 20s was arrested [Monday] morning.

"He was detained at Roxboro Road Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 and has since been charged to appear before Limerick City District Court this morning, 14th May 2019 at 10:30am.”
