The University of Limerick student was injured in Luxembourg

A UNIVERSITY of Limerick student is currently in intensive care following an incident in Luxembourg. 

The 21-year-old student, who is studying abroad on an Erasmus, was seriously injured on Friday, April 13. 

Irish folk singer Christy Moore paid tribute to the student during his performance at the University Concert Hall last weekend. 

The musician dedicated his performance of ‘Beeswing’ to the student who was due to travel back to Limerick to attend the gig. 

A Mass for the student is due to take place in Luxembourg this evening.
