Yellow alert as heavy rainfall predicted in Limerick

Met Eireann issues warning

The weather today in Donegal

Met Eireann has issued a yellow weather warning for Limerick with significant rainfall predicted later today and tomorrow.

The State forcecaster says there will be between 30mm and 50mm of rainfall which will lead to spot flooding in places.

The warning, which takes effect from 11am, is set to remain in place until 11am on Friday.

Significant rainfall has also been predicted for counties Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford.
