THE final instalment of Twilight Thursdays for this year takes place today (Thursday, November 27).
The social nights will return again in January 2026.
Tonight has some interesting events lined up with a multicultural celebration at Wickham Way, a Twilight Milk Market and Christmas fun, a GOSHH karaoke evening and a twilight trad fest.

Craig Power, Night-Time Economy Advisor, Limerick City and County Council said: “This final Twilight Thursdays of the year is a brilliant moment to come into the city, enjoy what’s on offer and soak up the atmosphere as we move into the Christmas period.
"With more than sixty events, diverse cultural experiences and a clear nod to the festive season it is the perfect night to come into the city, stay later and enjoy the vibrancy of Limerick city centre after dark. Let’s make this a night to remember before we pause for the holidays.”
There will also be a gentle yoga session, a pro wrestling night, open mic comedy, gaming competitions, bingo, and a quiz night. To see a full list of events, visit www.limerick.ie/twilight-thursdays.
Twilight Thursdays are part of the national Night-Time Economy pilot programme, supported by the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport. The initiative encourages late-night vibrancy, with local businesses offering special menus, pop-up events, and extended hours.
There are taxi discounts with special offers on transport from Uber and FreeNow with discounts of up to 40%, the discount code TWILIGHTTHURSDAYNOV can be used on Uber and the code TwilightThursdayNovember on FreeNow.
There is also free parking at The Potato Market car park between 6pm and 9pm.
Businesses can get involved by hosting an event, extending their trading hours on Thursday nights and offering a 10% discount to customers using the Limerick Gift Card.
