Brendan O'Connor and Kevin Duddy of Adare Manor accepting three Michelin Keys
TWO LIMERICK venues are enjoying the sweet taste of success as both No.1 Pery Square, and Adare Manor have won Michelin Keys.
The Michelin Key is awarded to hotels that demonstrate excellence in hospitality, providing guests with “a memorable experience through high-quality service and attention to detail”.
Coming in three distinctions, hotels and resorts can win one, two or three keys, depending on their ranking, which is decided by a Michelin Guide judging panel.
No.1 Pery Square, located in the heart of the historic Limerick Georgian quarter in the city, was awarded one Key, while Adare Manor in county Limerick received three.

Patricia Roberts of No.1 Pery Square said she is “thrilled”.
“At No.1 Pery Square each individual guest experience takes priority and always has.
“We have been very lucky to receive many accolades and awards over the past 15 years, and the Michelin Key is a truly wonderful achievement for the whole No.1 Pery Square team.”
It was a double delight for Adare Manor on October 1, as they won three Michelin Keys and were voted the Best Resort in Europe for the third consecutive year, thanks to the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.
“I couldn’t be happier,” said JP McManus, owner of the 840-acre resort that is Adare Manor. “I am delighted for the staff,” he added.
