Sergeant Ber Leetch of Henry Street garda station warned: “That is not the case, any person, criminal or otherwise, may advertise a service, this does not mean that they are to be trusted.”
Sergeant Leetch said that if a price seems too good to be true, then it probably is.
She urged people not to accept any work or services from someone who called to their home and only to use reputable service providers and those who have been recommended by someone you know and trust.
