THE SHOP at the Redemptorist Church on Henry Street was targeted by a thief. 

On Wednesday, May 8, a man broke the window of the religious shop at the church. It was at 3.45am and the burglary was captured on CCTV.

After he broke the window, the man climbed in and took cash from the shop till, before walking out the front door of the shop. 

The matter is being investigated by gardaí. 

They are particularly interested in hearing from any motorists or delivery drivers who may have been in the Henry Street area between 3.30am and 4am on May 8 to contact them on 061 212400.
