My Week with Celia Holman Lee: Surrounded by wonderful VIPs!

At the VIP 2024 Style Awards on Friday night surrounded by gorgeous local ladies Louise Cantillon, Muireann O'Connell, Louise Cooney and Aoife McNamara

I’M STILL recovering! What a week it’s been! Hectic is an understatement, but hectic in the best possible way.

Last Thursday I attended the Limerick Person of the Year Awards at the fabulous Clayton Hotel. Unfortunately, due to another commitment in Dublin, I couldn’t stay for the entire ceremony.

I’ve never missed these awards and I was adamant I’d attend, even if it was only for a short while.

I was beyond thrilled to hear later in the day that Milford Care Centre were named Limerick Persons of the Year.

They are incredible there - they manage to bring such peace and dignity to patients and their loved ones at such a vulnerable time in their lives. I cannot praise them enough!

And then what about Keith Earls?! I saw the photo of him holding his head in his napkin after watching the video of tributes from Limerick people and it brought a tear to my eye.

The fact those words came from his own people clearly meant the world to him and if anyone deserves a lifetime achievement award, it’s Keith!

VIP Style Awards

ON Friday, it was all about Ireland’s most glamorous showbiz event of the year - the VIP 2024 Style Awards!

The lavish InterContinental Hotel, Dublin hosted the event and at one stage I felt I was in Limerick such was the amount of familiar faces around me! I was thrilled for the beautiful Louise Cantillon who won the Most Stylish Newcomer award.

This hard-working lady has her own unique style and really rocks it too! She’s not afraid to try new looks and this versatility is really winning her admirers. I had lots of lovely compliments on my own gown by Phoenix V. It’s always lovely to get positive feedback.

Our Limerick ladies really knocked it out of the park in terms of style, with Louise Cooney, Niamh de Brun-Reid, Muireann O’Connell and Aoife McNamara wowing on the night.

Can we take a moment for Aoife’s big bow! Another Limerick lady not afraid to show her unique style.

We love to see it!

Xx Celia
